Essex Community Foundation (ECF) has launched its annual ‘Surviving Winter Appeal’ to raise funds and help vulnerable people and local charities to keep safe and warm this Winter.

The Winter months are always a challenging time for vulnerable and elderly people. Many attend clubs and social groups which are often the only time they will see someone. However, rising energy costs may mean that many will be left out in the cold this Winter.

All donations will help us provide grants to cover fuel and food costs, support activities to reduce loneliness and isolation, and help those in need to access specialist services and community groups.

Every donation, whatever the amount, will help to make a significant difference. If you receive the Winter Fuel Allowance and don’t need it to pay your own bills, please consider donating it.
