100km walk from Chelmsford to Maidstone to raise money for the Essex Community Foundation

My Story
There are so many great charities in Essex that help those in need and the Essex Community Foundation is a fantastic organisation that allows companies and individuals to connect with those charities and ensure that they receive the help they need.
The challenge I have set myself along with some friends (Kieran Butler, Jon Read and Richard Bethell) is to hike 100km in one go. We envisage this will take us somewhere between 24-30 hours to complete and plan on carrying out the challange over the august bank holiday weekend. Additionally we will take a picture every 10km we walk as evidence of our growing despair!
Since we are all Chelmsford City FC fans, we will be walking from Chelmsford city centre to Maidstone, aiming to arrive in time to see Chelmsford City FC play away against Maidstone United FC. The route will be 101.7kms (63.2 miles) to be exact!
All donations are very appreciated. Rickard Luckin will be matching the first £10,000 of donations raised from all employees partaking in a fundraising event.
